The opportunity is hiding in plain sight.
Optical employers already meet people who could become excellent opticians. Virginia already has apprenticeship, education, and licensure. But those pieces do not always present themselves as one coherent career pathway.
FRAME Virginia was created to connect them—giving employers a clearer development tool and giving workers a route they can actually see from the beginning.
Opticianry is the first focus because the profession already has the ingredients for a strong earn-and-learn pathway. FRAME's job is to make those ingredients work together better in Central Virginia.
